I hate the excruciating pain.

I hate the fact that I can’t walk properly.

It's difficult to tell, but his arm is much bigger than it should due to a reaction to a vaccination. My sister and I have the same reaction, so this wasn't unexpected.

Who is still coughing? That would be moi! I called the after hours number and got a very understanding, very sympathetic doctor on the phone who called in two more meds and NOW I think I'm on the right track.

This photo was taken the day before mom died. Cara-Rae was a substitute caregiver while mom's was on vacation. I'd just engaged this service because it was evident I couldn't take care of mom by myself. Mom didn't care for Cara-Rae, which should not surprise anyone. lol. I told mom that on such short notice we had very little choice until Hilda got back. Mom fumed though Cara-Rae was very capable and sweet to her. The car and hair and piercings were just too much for my mom. :)

I am an adult that gets ear infections. This one began with a ruptured ear drum and ended with an infection in both my ear canal and my middle ear. I cannot hear well. I have continual buzzing in my head. I am crabby and slightly dizzy. The antibiotics aren't working fast enough for me.

Tyler is laying on the couch next to me.  He wakes up multiple times EVERY SINGLE NIGHT!!!!  He is 4 1/2 years old and has only slept through the night a handful of times since he was born.  It is exhausting!

The beautiful lady in this picture is my sister in law.  She's smiling in this picture and hiding her pain.  We didn't know it at the time though.  She tells us she started feeling bad on Christmas Eve when this picture was taken.  She has had a double mastectomy and fought breast cancer and won.  Now we are hoping she can fight lung and liver cancer and win again.  Please keep her in your prayers.  We need all we can get.  Her name is Joy, and those handsome little boys, they are her sons and you can't see him in this picture, but the man standing behind her is my husbands brother, her husband.  He has been a rock through this whole process, please pray for him as well.  I can't imagine the toll this is taking on him as well.

Ok, this is another total cheat. I took this picture well over a year ago. But it's so perfect, I've had a sore muscle/pinched nerve/something wrong with my shoulder and neck for a week. This causes headaches along with the soreness in the neck and shoulder! It's no fun!

Taken while waiting for my husband to return from CAT scan. He called me this afternoon in an immense amount of pain, we ended up at the ER and he was diagnosed with Kidney stones. I am so thankful it was nothing more and that he's home safe and sound (and well medicated) but I doubt I'll sleep tonight, I am terrified of being widowed again and anytime he's out of my view I'm convinced something will happen to him....this did nothing to ease my fears. SIGH....perhaps I need more therapy. HA!

Woke up with a sore throat and stuffy nose.

 Threw back some Alka Seltzer cold medicine, and I am as good as new.
