Waves on the lakefront are pretty rough too.

Everything is completely saturated outside now. It's pretty dark and grey, so much so the street lights are on in several places around town.

This is pretty close to an accurate description of the weather today.
Warm enough to melt the snow creating puddles of water.
I'm a sucker for reflections.

Picture is crummy, but I had to lighten it a bit to show this...
my neighbors house on the left side and the waterway outback flooded to almost 1 foot from
their back door!!!!  We had some water in our basement, but I bet they had a lot more.  Flash flood warnings and tornados watch was how we spent our evening.

Went to tow in the morning and got all excited about the rain. We got home and not a drop fell at our house...story of our summer.

As we left the pool, a thunderstrom struck. These are the kids running into the house as a thunderbolt made a boom.

Twenty minutes before my kids and I were playing in the pool. Seems like we came home at just the right time.

These are my favorite clouds.  Those big fluffy ones on top.  They are calling for storms for the rest of the week, so I wanted to get a picture of those clouds and the blue sky.

It gushed water from the sky all night and into the morning. We discovered that our street, normally safe for street parking, had water up to the edge of the curb. We moved our cars and got our out of town neighbors cars moved into our cramped driveways. When I took this photo, the water flowed over the curb and covered our sidewalk.
