This photo was taken the day before mom died. Cara-Rae was a substitute caregiver while mom's was on vacation. I'd just engaged this service because it was evident I couldn't take care of mom by myself. Mom didn't care for Cara-Rae, which should not surprise anyone. lol. I told mom that on such short notice we had very little choice until Hilda got back. Mom fumed though Cara-Rae was very capable and sweet to her. The car and hair and piercings were just too much for my mom. :)
