Geometric/floral design in front my neighbor’s house. Over here women draw these patterns everyday morning in front of their gate or entrance.

I finished the top to Eden's quilt and my mom helped me pin the top, backing, and batting all together so that I can begin hand quilting it. I hope to have it done before fall comes back around. This is my first solo quilt.

I've decided to move some of my art supplies to my new family room. I have a wonderful piece of oil cloth I'll use to protect the table. I hope I just don't stare at the table like I have at my exercise bicycle. Gark.

This is a portrait done of my mother when I was 10 years old. I remember so clearly going with her for her sittings. It was a glorious home on a bluff above the Long Island Sound. She was so very beautiful. I remember that dress and I remember my mom looking like this.

These are two very fine French watercolors my mother gave me. Mary and Jesus are now where these once were. I like having them lower for greater appreciation. This new guest room looks pretty dreary in this photo, but it's actually quite soothing with the luscious tones of green and sumptuous soft green comforters.
