We went to Wisconsin Dells yesterday where there is a Deer Park. There are at least 100 deer there, so very friendly, they come right up to you to be fed. It was a very nice experience and I recommend it to everyone. The boys loved it.

One week ago today we celebrated Grandpa's birthday a little early.  He will be 100 on the 16th.  These are all of his grand kids and great grand kids and one of his daughters.

As per request, here's Dustin and Maddie. Please excuse the lack of completed painting in the background. I need to finish it by the holidays.

They're so cute!

I'm new to this, so forgive me if I do a goofy job of it. I'm a SAHM of a 14 year old boy named Chance, 12 year old twin boys named Kyle and Derrick, and a 2 year old daughter named Madeleine. I have 3 indoor cats named George, Sly, and Skittles, and 3 strays outside that come by daily to visit... I've only named one (Skanky lol).

I love this pic of Maddie on our vacation to RI this last summer. Watching the kids enjoy the beach was a real treat. Been a long time since I got to visit the family there.

The past year was hard. A lot happened. The good, the bad, and the ugly. As I post here, my story will unfurl. I plod along these days having recently had my second hip replacement surgery and then the setback of three pulmonary embolisms. Most people barely survive one - I had three! I miss my mother very much. I do believe in the cliché that she is in a better place. She was a total lunatic, but she was my lunatic and I loved her and miss her. She is at peace now. This photo is of a table in her apartment, which I have repurposed for my own use. This would please her. For the passerby, it's decorated with knickknacks, but they are remembrances of my mother... a little altar, if you will.

Went to the punkin' patch today. It is our little tradition to take a family pic there.
Tripods are a wonderful little invention.

My son has developed an interest in photography.
Sure, he's only three, but I've been doing a photo a day since before he was born.
He probably thinks the camera is an extra appendage.
