Carol

Coming back from our trip to Dubuque last weekend, we passed a cool, old landmark of sorts.
This is the Gobbler and it's right outside of the Watertown/Johnson Creek area in Wisconsin.
The inside of the building is pink and purple. I bet it was once a hip, fun and happening place in the 60's or 70's.   Click on the link to see pics of the inside:  http://buythegobbler.com/.

A friend of mine had his high school graduation celebration dinner there years ago, interesting place.

That is a very cool place! I hope someone buys it and fixes it up.

I agree, it would be cool to see it open again. There are two ladies from Milwaukee who shot an independant film there. I can't remember the name of the film right now, but I'll find the name.

I've been inside when I was little. The bar spun around once an hour. If you sat there, you couldn't feel it spinning but you'd move ever so slowly. Yep, it was pink and purple inside. The bar was purple and the seating area was pink. Way cool!

What a neat place. It looks really retro! I would so love to have this place.
