She is a professional designer. So although it was very intricate she was fast. I think it took around 2 hours if not more to complete both hands and feet. But after that the test of patience starts. You have to sit like a statue for at least 6-7 hours. You cannot drink or touch water. In fact you cant touch anything or walk. And no soap for a day. The idea is to get the darkest design. It is said that darker the mehendi , more you husband you will love you. :)
