198/365 Robin

The readers digest of my day reads like this: Up at 6:00 a.m. out the door by 7 p.m. work until 5 p.m. got home, sat for just a second, then walked 5 miles, came home watered the lawn, finished filling pots with flowers, did laundry, dishes, vacuumed, dusted...and then I saw the A on the paper pictured here.....I didn't see it until after she was in bed. This is my youngests paper, school doesn't come easily to her, she works really hard and gets good grades....and I didn't say anything. Being a working wife and mom is so incredibly hard. I stepped into the garage for a moment to weep. I really REALLY need a vacation.

Aw, don't beat yourself up so bad. Life gets busy. Congrats to your daughter on her hard work. WOOT! :)

Don't give yourself a hard time. Plan today something special for her for tonight and celebrate tonight. She won't care that it's tonight versus last night. She may actually be happier that something special is happening (a cake in her honor...her favorite food dish.....some special time with mom alone....whatever)
