The sad part about it? I imagine those baskets are already half-way full again with dirty clothes! That's why I hate laundry....you have that momentary sense of accomplishment and then bamm the basket once again has dirty clothes in it!
Usually what happens here is that these fill up with mountains of clean clothes that remain unfolded for weeks at a time, and we dig through them to find something (wrinkly) to wear. And the bottom layer(s) of one basket ends up as a repository for socks because I hate sorting and folding them, and Kaly hates it more. I'm doing my best to end this practice and fold stuff and put it away as soon as it comes out of the dryer. So far so good, but old habits are hard to change. :)
Ha, Wade, you sound a lot like me. Socks are the worst and always the last thing to get folded...especially with 7 people in the house. I'm never "caught up" on laundry.
