I won't ever take running water for granted again. SEVEN DAYS!!! No water for SEVEN DAYS!! We had a leak somewhere between the water meter and the house and had to turn it off to keep our bill from being sky high. SEVEN DAYS later we finally have running water again.

Dumping water in the back of the potty will allow you to flush it. So... all the rain we got last week was collected and used to flush. The showers were taken at mom's who lives about 15 mins. away from us. HUGE HASSLE! So glad to be back to normal.
THat's rough! REALLY rough! You should feel proud of yourself for your ingenuity to live for (how many days???) without water!

That must have really sucked. No water or no power without kids is NOT fun...not for one day, let alone SEVEN.
