I've caught the art bug. Reenie and I were in an over-priced gallery that is owned by a guy who is somewhat of a jerk. I liked this piece but it didn't have a price on it. His response when asked about the price was, "Oh, whatever you want. I just don't care anymore." Rrriiiiiight. So I just let it go and wandered off while Reenie was negotiating a deal for her two awesome religious prints. What I didn't realize was that she asked him if she gave him full price for the prints, would he throw in this piece for her friend for FREE! Apparently, she caught him off guard. He stammered a little bit, but agreed! Can you believe that! She's one cool customer.

I love what you selected! BTW, you are one cool friend. I rarely bargain - actually never with art. But he set himself up as such an easy target. It was sweet to call his bluff. LOL.
Sounds like he was asking for it. Also, very cool piece. I love all the different kinds of leaves.
