We got a 70-200 Canon L Series Lens today.  When we took it with us to run a few errands this evening I came across this.  A real life "Tow Mater".  My kids thought this was soooo cool.

Had a minor car accident. Although it was the driver’s fault I decided not to report to the travel desk. He might have lost his job. Anyways no one was hurt.

My guy loves his classic cars..this lil one was our Lady Harriet a 1939 Austin 8,his restoration project .... a before and after shot,poor girl was in the garage when it burnt and the roof fell in on her and broke his heart.the garage will be replaced,Harriet is sadly gone for good.

We are trawling E-Bay for a new one but nothing has taken his fancy yet...

Time to share the fire..... this is what happened to my guys business while we were on holiday last September.It was a motor repair garage,his " business partner" was welding a car and a spark caught alight,20 mins later this is what was left...no one was hurt fortunately. The place has still not been rebuilt but the plans have finally been submitted.

The insurance process has been tedious and demoralising and he has to odd job to survive the waiting.Best bit... the "business partner" took off after the fire to who knows where,he had said the money in the office had been burnt too,we now have a statement from a fireman who attended that it was recovered and handed over ....lesson learnt!.... he will be solo in the new garage lol

We went out for lunch and visited my mom the day we left the Quad Cities. For unknown reasons, Mom rarely allows her photo taken, so instead you get the pink 1956 Thunderbird that serves as the kid's meal basket at Maid Rite.

My new ride...yes, it's a minivan. lol. Never ever thought I would be driving one of these, but then again I never thought I would have two boys either. We travel a lot so this is a good option for us.  I'm very excited. When we drove up Noah kept saying, "New honk!" I guess, we are all excited.

Had to go to the wage negotiations today,12 hour,190 mile round trip up the motorway in a crappy hire car....I'm shattered.....and the offer?.. 1.2% pay rise,thats only 6 pence an hour....I cannot go back to my people and tell them they are only worth that.....sorry I'm ranting.

This is my own car keys or rather one key and lots of dog tags,from past dogs,and old addresses..... the keyring is the meaning of my name and a charity trolley token...whats on yours?
