Queens theatre,London's West End... our equivalent of Broadway....I saw this years ago but wanted to go again in it's 25th anniversary year.... was I disappointed?...no I loved every second of it and still cried at the end,for me it is timeless perfection.

I received these pretty flowers in a lovely vase from my good friend, Darcy, today for my birthday.  

Thank you, Darcy, it was a very sweet surprise.  She wished me a "day filled with love, laughter and sunshine!"

For my birthday, we had an approximation of a peanut butter pie we saw on an episode of Man vs. Food. Start with a graham cracker crust, followed by a layer of peanut butter crumble (a mixture of peanut butter and powdered sugar), a thick layer of vanilla pudding, another layer of the peanut butter crumble, a thick layer of whipped cream, and yet another layer of the peanut butter crumble. Delicious.

I helped Tina (the beautiful lady in the white) celebrate her birthday with her friends (Andrea, the beautiful lady on the left) and family on Saturday night.  We laughed so hard for so long I ended up with a headache but it was so worth it!

On New Year's Day, we threw Cacie a birthday party with friends and family at Chuck E. Cheese's in Davenport. I'd never been to la maison de Monsieur Fromage (this location was a Showbiz Pizza when I was a kid), but it was not anywhere near the hell I was half expecting it to be. Everyone had a good time. Even my dad.

December 30th. Happy 9th birthday, Cacie! Just us and a small cake tonight. We're heading back up to the Quad Cities to have a bigger party with family and friends this weekend.
