I posted this extra large so you can see the stitches.  I'm just barely halfway finished with the first "square" on the quilt.  I can see this is going to take some time.  I'm hoping that once I get a few blocks in I'll find my "groove" and it will go faster.

I finished the top to Eden's quilt and my mom helped me pin the top, backing, and batting all together so that I can begin hand quilting it.  I hope to have it done before fall comes back around.  This is my first solo quilt.

I have longed for one of these for years, and once I saw it in red I wanted it even more. I would NEVER buy myself something so expensive and to be very honest I do not need this even a little bit but when Hubs gave this to me tonight I. Hugged. It. I am so in love with this mixer...ER I mean Hubs LOL Merry christmas everyone!

While in Provence, my daughter's chose a meter of fabric so they could make pillows for their grandmother. These are the result.

Finally I was able to get these for the Hubs for a Christmas / Wedding anniversary gift. (2 year on 12.21!) I tried researching them online, asked guys at work, my dad...it all made my head swim! Tonight I walked into the sporting goods store asked for help and it was immediately clear what I needed! I guess I should have done that first :)
