Lesley 138/365

I visit my Dad every Saturday morning,he still lives in the little village we grew up in, just two streets,no shops,no bus service but we did have two pubs lol..........the canal was a source of endless entertainment when we were kids, it passes under the village via a long tunnel which seemed so spooky when you are young, funny how your perception changes with the years.

Is that one of the canals that you can rent the boat???? My husband and I have long talked about travelling and renting one of the canal boats and touring the country that way!

Sarabeth...ROLF :)
Tanya...thanks Hun
MaryFran...yes you can hire the narrowboat, the summer sees all manner of canal "traffic" everywhere, there has been a lot of rejuvenation in our canal networks so they dont get neglected and its a lovely way to travel,day-trips or longer....btw my sis spent her honeymoon on one and conceived my niece in the process lol....
