Becky *Thirteen*

This is a scene from Anne Frank when the Gestapo are breaking into the office building and the occupants of the Secret Annex are just waiting to be found.  This play always makes me cry, but when it's your child up there getting carted off by Nazis, well, then I'm sobbing.  The actors did an outstanding job.

My David did a lot of theatre in high school. It was such an AMAZING group of kids - real tight - and dedicated. Whenever I saw him on stage it was a thrill - but more than that - for one thing, he was doing something I could never ever do. I think I was just pure awestruck - and I imagine that's how you felt.
